The 65C card appeared soon after the first release of the of Return of the Jedi figures on the 65A cardback. The card front is identical to the 65A/B, with the black border underneath the film title and age warning in five languages. The rear of the card has now been changed to feature a mail-away offer for a Chewbacca Bandolier figure holder. This offer has an advertised closing date of 31st January 1984. On some cards the closing date text has been blacked out, apparantely by hand with some sort of black marker pen. This was probably to extend the period of the offer. No cards have been seen where this text has been removed by any other means or with any replacement text. Like the 65A card, none of the earlier Star Wars or Empire Strikes back figures were released on this cardback, these only appeared on their own variant of the ROTJ packaging, the 45C and 65D cards. | ||
