New to the site?
for a no-nonsense beginner's guide

The aim of this site is to categorise the many different variations of packaging used for Star Wars figures produced by the Palitoy company in the UK. My intention is to identify every possible card and figure combination, from the first "12-back" cards released in 1978 up to the final series of figures on Return of the Jedi "Tri Logo" cards in 1985.

Welcome to the Palitoy Star Wars Cardback guide.

Hello Again!

Not much to add on this latest update - just a few more additions to the figure matrix (including a 30-back Han Solo which many of you may have spotted on ebay recently). As ever any new sightings are welcome - please PM me via the excellent rebelscum forums or drop me an e-mail if you know my super-secret e-mail address. There are still quite a few gaps in the table which I would like to fill - I'd be especially interested to hear from anyone who has 30 and 41 back cards, especially of SW characters, as I'm currently missing many of these. I do appreciate messages (even if I am often slow to reply).

I'm still intending to add to the section on foreign sticker variations at some point in the future, though this probably won't be for some time because I'm a busy chap. I'd also like to add more content to the Palitoy.org site - there are a few other bits and pieces located here at the moment that you may stumble across such as the odd vehicle or paperwork picture - it would be nice to link these together as a comprehensive archive site that the Palitoy Star Wars toy range deserves. This will probably happen someday, watch this space.

I'm still working (not very) hard on a collection of Palitoy ROTJ figures at the moment, If anyone has any of the following figures on Palitoy ROTJ cards and is interested in selling, please contact me:

Leia (original), Sandpeople, Hammerhead, Snaggletooth, Luke X-wing, Ben Kenobi, R5-D4, Power Droid, FX-7, IG-88, and Yoda.

Any other offers of Palitoy items for sale will also be welcomed!
